At French Horizons we are dedicated to nurturing long-lasting connections between educational establishments on both sides of the channel. We go the extra mile to connect schools, teachers, and students, so that your French trip can become part of a wider project with a long-term vision.

Value for money:
- Clarity of quoting: Through our website quote builder you are in complete control of your tour quote, every item is specified in detail and can be adjusted as required.
- You come to us: We are physically based in the heart of the region you are visiting; our overheads are therefore very limited, and this is reflected in our quotes.
- A focused offering: We focus entirely on school trips to the Pays d’Auge. Our local providers offer us excellent rates, which are also reflected in the quotes.
Trusted partners:
- Accommodation centres: We only use a very small group of accommodation centres that we know and trust, which is particularly important for confidence with regards to food allergies and dietary requirements. We have now developed close relationships with these centres, they listen carefully to our feedback and know what we expect for our visiting groups.
- Coach firms: We work solely with two trusted UK coach firms, all the drivers therefore know all the locations we use and are extremely helpful.
- Activity providers: We have carefully hand-picked our activity providers and venues, all are tried-and-tested and work brilliantly for school groups.
Passion for the project:
- We are teachers ourselves: In addition to operating school trips to France, we teach at several of the music schools and conservatoires in the region. Hence our close connections with other schools and teachers around us.
- Governmental support: We are proud to have the backing of the Deputy of Calvados Jérémie Patrier-Leitus and the Département de Calvados for this enriching initiative. This has helped us to develop an ever-expanding list of French schools and music conservatoires that would like to participate in our projects. Most now contact us through word-of-mouth having heard from other schools how lovely it has been to have a link created with a UK school.
- Beyond the horizon: Being an English/French bilingual family, we hold on to the vision that through encouraging long-term friendships between schools, teachers, and students on both sides of the channel, we can help nudge our countries in the right direction!
