Feedback from visiting groups:
Thank you so much for a lovely trip, the pupils really enjoyed it and it was so well planned. You couldn’t have done any more for us. Our pupils have been exposed to such a wide range of experiences that will stay with them for life. The trip really helped some of our more reserved pupils to build confidence and make new friends, watching them grow and have fun on the trip was so lovely for us teachers to witness.
They particularly enjoyed Festyland and the visit to Jules Michélet school. Laetitia was brilliant and we hope to continue our school link with her, I will be in touch with her soon regarding a pen-pal scheme and a potential visit to us at BTH in the future.
We will certainly be coming back next year.

A massive thank you for organising such a brilliant tour for the young musicians of Southampton. All your help and support was very much appreciated by all and all the staff were saying how fantastic you were over the week. Thank you so much.
I just wanted to say that we all had an absolutely brilliant time in Normandy and it was in no small part due to the huge amount of work you had done in preparation. The concerts were a particular highlight and it was great to have full, enthusiastic audiences at each one. Thank you so much for organising such an excellent trip for us, and we look forward to coming back to Normandy again!
A huge thanks again for your support in setting up and running our tour. We all had a fabulous time and loads of the students said it was the best trip they’ve ever been on. I have also attached the article two of the Year 10s on the trip wrote for our school newsletter – think it expresses how much they enjoyed it! (click here for the newletter article)

Thank you very much for all your work both before and during our trip to Normandy. We had a wonderful time. The combination of music/French/history worked very well and ensured all pupils were kept extremely busy and have gained some wonderful memories.

I’ll write more thoroughly in due course, but for now just another sincere thank you for what we all thought was an extraordinary trip. It was a true pleasure to work with you
We had an incredible time in Normandy. Thank you so much for everything that you did to make it such a wonderful experience. I know that Susan – her even more so because she dealt with you in more detail and took on the main role of responsibility – will agree, that you were an absolute pleasure to work with, a brilliant communicator and we felt very at-ease for the whole process. The students had a good time, some good music was sung, connections made, many memories and positive culture formed. We are very grateful to you Chris.
Thank you so much. We are happy. The parents are happy. And the college is happy. Thank you for going the extra mile!
After our productive meetings I can confirm that our school, the Ecole du Bon Pasteur de Lisieux, would be delighted to welcome groups from UK schools. As discussed, English Language has been at the centre of our school vision for many years now. For this reason, we have an English teacher providing daily tuition to all our students, from year 1. Furthermore, we have large open spaces and several unused classrooms at our school, which would allow us to very easily accommodate visiting groups. We hope that several English schools will be interested in forming a partnership with us to help nurture future friendships.
We’ve had some really lovely feedback from the tour, thank you for all you did to organise it.
We would like to say a great ‘thank you’ for organising our trip to Normandy. Everyone involved had a fantastic time and a very positive musical and cultural experience.

Musique Anglo-Normande were fantastic. The itinerary put together worked perfectly. Chris is deeply involved in the local music scene, which meant that our concerts were well-attended and involved local musicians. Similarly the activities were all lots of fun and the accommodation worked perfectly. Having Chris around most of the time meant that everything ran incredibly smoothly. I could not name a single negative about Musique Anglo-Normande and would highly recommend them.

Thanks again for organising everything – our guys have had a really good time, and it’s been an amazing experience.
Barisons Singers have been touring for 20 years but this was our first post covid tour, and it is safe to say what a fantastic tour it was. The people were lovely, and the organisation was 100% spot on.
From the coach company supplying the most helpful and friendly coach driver, to Chris from musiqueanglonormande.com being hands on every step of the way.
A sold out concert and a fantastic collaboration with a local choir to perform Mozart’s Requiem made our first post covid tour a huge success.
The chance to sing for a Mass at the Basilica was also a fantastic opportunity and one to add to any choir’s list.
The price was very reasonable and all was included which made the days easier for all involved.
I would highly recommend musiqueanglonormande.com for any Normandy tour.
Thank you so so much for a brilliant and memorable trip…and thank you for the huge amount of thought, time and care you put into making the trip such a success.
The Erik Satie municipal music school (Honfleur) is delighted to welcome the Radley College Symphony Orchestra for a concert on the 12 February 2023 at Honfleur’s ‘Grenier a Sel’. It provides an opportunity for our students to benefit from this project and perform in a full symphony orchestra. Thank you to Christopher George for involving us in this lovely encounter.”

Musique Anglo Normande have listened carefully to all our questions and requests, and arranged an itinerary which perfectly fits our needs. Their communication has been brilliant, every step of the way, and we are really looking forward to our tour in the summer.
Chris has been a real pleasure to work with. He has made every aspect of tour planning so easy. His expertise is invaluable and has meant that we feel entirely confident as we approach our tour.

The teachers and students from the Orchestre Cadet are overjoyed with the project next February between Radley College and the Lisieux Conservatoire. During the occasion, the collaborative programme will allow everyone to share a rich musical adventure and cultural exchange”
“L’équipe et les élèves de l’orchestre Cadet se réjouissent de la rencontre organisée par Chris George en février prochain. entre l’orchestre Radley d’Oxford et l’orchestre Cadet de Lisieux. A cette occasion, des pièces communes permettront de partager une aventure riche musicalement et en échanges.
Can I just say a huge thank you at this stage for all of the thought and time you are putting into the plans for the tour. It’s unlike anything I have experienced before, and just wonderful.
Our concert tour was an unforgettable experience! The perfect balance of music, culture, and fun, it gave our students the opportunity to collaborate with French musicians, perform in fantastic venues to wonderful audiences, and even practise their French along the way. The itinerary blended inspiring cultural visits with exciting activities, and we were exceptionally well looked after with lovely food and accommodation. A truly enriching tour that our students will remember for years to come!
Dear Luisa
We wanted to say thank you for arranging a fabulous music tour to Normandy for the boys. We were so impressed with the cross-curricular itinerary that combined music, history, art, language, and cultural exchange. The boys are lucky to have had such a brilliant experience and will have great memories of the trip.
Dear Luisa
Having just witnessed the joy and excitement from the magical French Music Tour, we are truly impressed by the program’s ability to ignite such enthusiasm. I want to extend a huge THANK YOU for the French Music Tour. Watching from the sidelines through the photos and videos was awe-inspiring. The level of coordination and effort that went into it—from organizing concert materials and collaborating with other schools to managing transportation, activities, and even meals—was remarkable.
